In my career I have been fortunate enough to work with many highly respected Directors, Actors and celebrated figures and worked for most British and many European, American and Japanese Network TV broadcasters, plus many UK Independents.

I have a passion for film making and keep abreast of the latest equipment and technological developments, especially High Definition; I have been involved with HD production for 23 years and shot the first HD documentary series to be broadcast in the UK. I have considerable experience shooting productions with CGI content and using blue/green screen. I have also lectured in Film at the NFTS and the Glasgow School of Art.

I am a member of the Guild of British Camera Technicians, a life member of BAFTA and have been elected a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society, for my earlier years of work in extreme environments. When I am not working, I enjoy sailing and am an RYA qualified skipper.
